Artists are invited to submit their unique stories & artwork for our art production for the ARTalk Series Season Premiere “Honoring our Roots” hosted by Eishamarie Rivera known for her work on the television network Telemundo-Orlando.

Eishamarie is a contributor and an example of Latino women's strong influence in the television industry whose goal is to empower others through storytelling, creating an inspirational breakthrough for her audience. She has cultivated many important relationships throughout her television career, as well as in the radio, film, and beauty industries, leading events and conferences- including influential personalities at known television stations, brands, and within creative industries.
Interested in the artistic world from a young age, Eishamarie became part of the Puerto Rican diaspora in 2015, landing an internship at Telemundo Orlando where she recorded and directed the segment "Los Lugares más In de la Florida Central'' broadcast on Holaciudad TV. Highlighting her career, in 2017 she became a host for “Vive Tu Día” along with Roberto Vigoreaux where she had the opportunity to interview renowned artists within the Latino community. Some iconic public figures like Iris Chacón, Michael Stuart, El Gangster, Melina León, and Alex Díaz are examples of her artist repertoire.
Pursuing her passion to communicate and deliver unique stories of success that serve as a vessel to inspire, Eishamarie decided to put her effort and expertise towards the creation of Eishamarie TV. A new venture for interviews hosted on digital platforms utilizing streaming and combining the innovation of social networks with her expertise in television production. Prior to launching her company, she established her studies in Communications and Public Relations at the Metropolitan University of Cupey, Puerto Rico along with a certification in Advertising Design.
ARTalk was born from a collaboration between ART and TELEVISION to positively impact the artist community and create a guide to success within the art market. In collaboration with bonARTE Events & Creations, we have strengthened our bridge within our artist community, art world professionals, and creatives looking to nurture a purposeful network for emerging artists.
For this Season Premiere, “Honoring our Roots'', we will select a group of artists actively working on their art careers and can serve as an example of pursuing their roots as artists to showcase their stories through a short film format production.
The stories selected will be part of the art series Season One. The art series will be focused on the work behind each artist's story. This is a full production series and selected artists will be co-starring with TV Host Eishamarie Rivera.
The work behind your story, the steps that took you where you are now…the goal is to dissect your journey and amplify it through ARTalk.

Our commitment and love towards the one responsible for shaping us as visual artists inspired us to create this initiative for artists by artists. We are proud Centralinos and this is honoring our roots.
Eligibility
This is a seasonal open call for artists from every country to be selected for an art series' first season production. This is a full production series and selected artists will be co-starring with known TV Host Eishamarie Rivera. The main languages are English and Spanish- a translator may be available depending on the filming location. All styles and media are welcome. There are no educational requirements to apply to the open call. Even though this open call is for all types of artists, we strongly encourage applicants that have experience working as artists or are actively pursuing their art careers that can provide their unique stories that align with the purpose of this project. All submissions will be considered by our Creative Director- Lisa Fuentes and guest curators.
Submission Information
You must complete the application via our Artist portal to be eligible for this opportunity (our artist submission portal will be provided ONLY by bonARTE once submission period start). Our artist portal is brought to you by bonARTE ‘Making Art a way of Life’ in partnership with Artgalleria. Please follow the formats required inside our submission portal to avoid errors with your application. Please review our Agreement section as well as the requirements described down below prior to participating.

REQUIREMENTS:

Artists may submit up to 3 individual (different artworks) pieces of work for consideration

Good quality images must be provided-up to 50 MB each, and we recommend JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or GIF formats.

For videos, submit the video link URL

Artwork images must be uploaded directly to the submission portal. No artwork images will be accepted or evaluated via email or other methods unless directed to do so.

Artist Bio must be under 3,500 words and statements under 500 words (manually entered no attached files)

Artists must provide a brief story on their bio to make sure they align with the purpose of this project.

Artwork does not have to be for sale.

Artists must be available to collaborate with the production team for scheduled filming days.

Artists must be willing to be exposed to cameras and the public eye.

*All artists will be notified of the final decision directly by bonARTE Events & Creations & authorized collaborators*. If you are one of the artists selected for our art production ARTalk Series Season Premiere, you will receive further information at that time. All selected artists will be notified via our collaborators' social media platforms. To ensure you do not miss the opportunity, please make sure you follow and are subscribed to the required accounts listed below.
We will give you a 72-hour window to get back to us via private message through the respective account that made the selection announcement. If we do not receive your message within this timeframe, we will give the opportunity to the next person in line. An email prior to the time of the announcements will be sent to all applicants to make sure they are connected at the moment we notify the first batch of selections - we will let you know which platform we will be utilizing to do so (i.e Instagram, Facebook or YouTube).
Once we make contact with selected artists through our social media platforms we will send a detailed email to start working on the series pre-production shooting schedule- whether it is through a virtual connection or an in-person meeting. *Tap each link directed to our collaborators' accounts to follow and subscribe. All applicants whether they are selected or not for the ARTalk series will be participating in our LIMITED EDITION GIVEAWAY brought to you by our collaborator and friend P.ANTHONY. An automated email with details will be sent once artists complete their submission process. All announcements will be done through social media. Stay tuned!

Submission fee is $37 for up to 3 artworks (non-refundable)

***Please note there is ONLY a submission fee of $37 that goes towards supporting our community and helping provide opportunities for artists, collaborators, and curators. This fee will be charged through our Artist portal. No extra fee will be charged by the company or anyone related to production. Due to our association with Artgalleria - as they are partnered with Stripe - all transactions are handled securely by Stripe Payments, a global leader in credit card payments, for your peace of mind and security. For that reason, we are only able to accept card payments at this time.
Please keep this in mind at the time of your application as you will be asked to input your card information. This is a secured payment process and we do not store your credit card information.
AGREEMENT
ARTalk along with Eishamarie TV and bonARTE Events & Creations reserves the right to use images of the artwork on its social platforms. By submitting artwork via this call, the artist agrees to the terms outlined above. The artist submitting their work understands that inclusion is not guaranteed as this is a juried opportunity. Artists retain full copyright of their work. Images will not be used by ARTalk, Eishamarie TV, bonARTE Events & Creations, or any other collaborator mentioned below aside from promotion and social media posts for selection announcements as needed.
